Windfall Brides is a joint project between the Berkeley Church and Windfall Basics that aims to serve the basic-needs items to those who cannot afford them on their wedding day. Windfall Basics is a charity that acquires new clothing and distributes them to social service agencies for the purposes of alleviating poverty and fostering human dignity.
Griffintown Cafe is a lovely cafe located in Montreal that not only has excellent food but live Jazz music on certain nights. In May 2010 Griffintown approached Bowe with a request to update their website. Their previous site was a Flash based website that had lots of movement and sound built in with no connection to social media and no way to manage their own content. The problem Griffintown was having with the Flash site was that they were losing the traffic to their physical location due to a confusing, outdated website. Their request was to adapt the current web elements such as the logo, colours, and sketches into a new site managed with WordPress.
Hollywood Gelato is, in my opinion, the BEST gelato spot in Toronto. Being a huge lover of good food and an even bigger fan of delicious sweets, I was thrilled to work with Hollywood Gelato on their website.
Threequartersleeve is the blog of writer/journalist, Stephanie Hallett. Steph wanted a place to share her stories of thrifting, and her love of fashion. She also wanted her own space online to further define her writing style and craft. She has gone on to write for major publications, websites, and other blogs as well as maintain threequartersleeve on a regular basis.
PARC – The Pape Adolescent Resource Centre, located in Toronto is a joint project of the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, the Catholic Children’s Aid Society and Jewish Family and Child. It is a vital community for youth and former youth in child welfare to connect, access resources and explore their own potential.
