I really like the logo! I remember the old website these guys used to have. The new one is by far a vast improvement. I also like how there is no flashy stuff happening like things moving around or sound when I load the page.
Thank you! I have to agree with you too. I try to design without using Flash. For one thing it’s not a mobile friendly platform and two, does anyone really like websites with sound? I mean, I listen to music while I work and the last thing I want is to be interrupted by some other person’s tunes. It’s like the kids on the streetcar that play music through their speakerphones – so annoying!
Although I’d love to claim this website as my own personal design I cannot, when I arrived at The Berkeley there was another designer working on the logo and website. I can only take credit for giving feedback on the logo, helping with the layout of the site and maintaining it. I did however manage the other important aspects of their online marketing.
Thanks again.
